Building Self Esteem

That's my sister and her friend in 1952!

This is perhaps the most important aspect of bringing up a child. These concepts can be applied to you and any of your loved ones. I will refer to “your Child” but feel free to insert yourself or anyone into these suggestions.

It is essential that we are certain to raise a child’s self confidence. They should be brought to feel that there isn’t a single thing that they can not achieve. Votes of confidence coming from you will ensure they build a strong basis that will not falter during a challenge.

1. Send your child text notes often which state that they are bright and intelligent. List the many good qualities they have.

Put these notes in their lunch bag or on their pillow.

2. Comment to them that their heritage makes them the strong person that they are.

3. Remind them that when they look in the mirror they are beautiful and strong and can accomplish anything they desire.

4. Listen to then without any comments. This will help them to relieve stress. Just listening with no input from you, that is  until they ask for it.

5. Teach them to stet intentions and how to think positively about the world.

6. Share with them that they are very special people here to heal the world. They will probably tell you they know this! After such a conversation you will share with your child and enjoy a new openness and awareness. You will both grow more spiritually.
